This hair dryer was fine as long as it worked. It was relatively quiet and dries hair well without much heat. Unfortunately, when drying my hair tonight, the hair dryer components inside the hair dryer fell apart. That's right, in the middle of drying, everything inside fell apart and rattled. I've never seen anything like it in all these years. First there were sparks, then smoke as I unplugged it, and then relief that none of the pieces had come loose and hit me in the face.
