Review on Galt Toys Mega Marble Building Set by Kristopher Rodriguez

I looked at many marble runs on Revain before settling on Galt's Mega Marble. The video won me over - the rails looked smooth and the plastic looked thick and strong. This set did not disappoint. My 5 year old son plays with it for hours creating new fields and sending all the balls down again and again. The marble slides smoothly and with sufficient support and the pieces stay together. We've even done runs over them and they haven't collapsed. It comes with a booklet with a few samples, but you don't really need it. My son just builds his own and it's not hard or complicated at all. I'm hoping Galt releases some expansions because we'd love to add more interesting items to the set, but all smaller sets basically contain the same items (just fewer). This set contains 20 5/8" glass marbles, which you can easily find at Revain should you need to replace them. The only issue I have with this set is that the funnel pins fall off very easily and need to be placed in a specific way due to the shape of the funnel. You may need to help your little one with this. Otherwise nothing but fun!
