I was a bit worried when I first bought it but not now. That works great. There are rollers on the bottom to keep it straight while scanning. It has two resolution settings. It also has a monochrome and a color switch. All my scans turn out great. It also has an auto power off function to save power. I thought it would be a good option for a battery powered scanner. You also get a bag with it. My only complaint is with the software. He stinks. However, you don't need it. Like a camera, the scanner appears as a disk when you connect it to your computer. You can easily view and copy files.
