Not working and no support

UPDATE after ordering Kasa switches at the bottom of this review. TreatLife fan switch and speed controller. It was a spectacular failure in every respect. Just a little background that I'm in the IT industry and I've run a ton of wires throughout the house. So I'm not new to computers or electrical wiring. I decided between them and Kasa products. I have a Kasa outdoor wifi outlet and it's great. I chose TreatLife for these switches simply because they had a 4 pack deal and got good reviews. First I tried 3 position switches. I used a switch on each of two different circuits. Both schemes behave the same. The TreatLife switch will function correctly (manual switch) as long as the other traditional three position switch is in a specific position. 3-position switches don't actually have an ON and OFF position, but let's just call it the OFF position. When the normal switch is in this position, the TreatLink switch does nothing. It is properly connected and still has power. I can see that the LED on the switch is properly lit. When the regular three position switch is in any other position, the TreatLife switch is functioning properly. I trace all the wiring and make sure all the nuts are tight. Nothing. I checked the TreatLife website and the help section is very sparse. I have emailed TreatLife and have not received a reply. I then went with the fan switch since the wall plate is still open. I connected exactly as instructed. It's on and responds when I press the power button and the cruise control buttons. But the fan gets no power. Yes I have verified that the fan drive circuit is in the ON position and also at maximum speed. The switch simply does not provide power to the fan. Out of curiosity, I decided to try the connection to the fan switch using the app, and boned again. I tried the Bluetooth method and the manual method. I switched to my dedicated 2G WiFi network. NOTHING. Sorry, but these switches and software require a lot of work. I'm comparing to other home automation products I have at home (both Kasa and Wyze). These others are easy to set up and just work. These TreatLink devices are a real disaster. I will be returning them and ordering Kasa units to replace them. UPDATE: So I ordered comparable Kasa switches with three positions and single pole switches. The Kasa doesn't have a fan speed switch yet. WOW what a wonderful product. I installed two three position switches (on two different circuits) and a single pole switch on the ceiling fan circuit. All 3 were ready in less than 30 minutes and they just work! Then the WLAN connection to the app went through without any problems. It took about 2 minutes each to connect and then update the firmware as well. What a wonderful experience.
