Long detailed version: I bought a vacuum sealer a few months ago and use it every week for cooking and sous vide. They are great and work exactly as they should. They are very durable and I can feel the difference between them and other no name bags I have used before. Gallon is suitable for large items or many small items. Sometimes I just need a smaller bag (for small items) so I cut these bags in half and use a heat sealer to seal the 2nd bag so I can get 2 uses from 1 bag. I'm deducting a star because of the price. After trying these and other unnamed brands, there isn't much of a difference. Yes, the quality seems to be slightly stronger and better on this one, but not significantly better or enough to justify the difference in cost. However, Net-Net does what it is supposed to do and that is what you would expect.
