I had an old Samsung 2165w printer that worked for me for more than 4 years and now it was showing its age, the Samsung printer in particular often wouldn't load paper from its tray so I started looks new on the market. My initial target is big brands like HP, Canon or Brother but after reading negative reviews of all popular models from them I noticed this Pantum which features and price are very competitive and finally decided to try it. The machine arrived today and the installation is very simple, just take out the cartridge, pull out the seal and replace, put the paper in the drawer, plug in the power cord and connect it to my iMac with the USB cable and everything works fine. There are some slight hiccups in the setup and I want to remind everyone of that. The tray's default paper size is A4, which is rare in the US. After you set the paper tray size to load letter-size paper, you must also set the paper tray paper size setting to letter-size from the top panel of the product. This isn't mentioned anywhere in the manual and I found it out by searching the web and found that there are similar issues for many other brands of printers.
