I love this product! I used another natural product until they stopped making it for cats so I gave this one a try. It lasts 6 months. This will be my second year and I will continue with it. The only reason I gave the scent a 4 is because it comes out of the bag too strong. I open it, take it out of the bag and let it air out for about a week. I would not recommend applying this to an animal straight out of the bag. In fact, I had to put it in a guest room to avoid smelling it. I wouldn't let my kitty get away with that! But that's easily fixed by letting it air out. I recommend this collar!
