Excessive citronella smell is toxic

I have bought many flea collars that are made with natural products, not Revain chemicals. Every time I buy a collar, it can NEVER be reordered. I bought this Israeli made one because I don't want anything Chinese for my cat. This collar smells so bad that the poor cat around it is acting strange. It's like the scent of 50 citronella candles in my apartment and my eyes have been burning for 2 days. Not recommended. I know most have an odor but it seems incredible and toxic.

This is my new way to protect against fleas and ticks.

I love this product! I used another natural product until they stopped making it for cats so I gave this one a try. It lasts 6 months. This will be my second year and I will continue with it. The only reason I gave the scent a 4 is because it comes out of the bag too strong. I open it, take it out of the bag and let it air out for about a week. I would not recommend applying this to an animal straight out of the bag. In fact, I had to put it in a guest room to avoid smelling it. I wouldn't let…

So after bathing all the cats, using flea sprays and mint heating pads around the house I got stuck as they kept popping up. It stinks to high heaven!

We bought 2 for our dogs and one for our cat and they smell so bad even 2 months out of the box the smell is too strong to carry around our neck my pets! We took out one of the wrappers and hung it on the porch hoping that over time the smell would wear off a bit so we could use it, but instead the smell was so strong that after a week on our porch smelled so bad we had to reseal it. ! Contains several toxic essential oils for cats and kittens

I strongly recommend that you ignore this essential oil collar for your cat or kitten. Two essential oils are particularly toxic to cats: geranium and clove. I did research AFTER I bought the collar. My 12 week old kitten wore this collar for a day and a half. I just took it from him. This morning he was throwing up like crazy and he has no strength.
