Description of 🏠 EternaBond RSW-6-50 RoofSeal Sealant Tape, White - 6-inch x 50-feet

Ideal for use in sunny environments. Simple installation only requires some surface preparation before use. The elongation factor is very high, which permits RoofSeal to expand or contract with changing conditions. Adhesive side has a silicone lining that prevents it from sticking to other surfaces before application. Size: 6" x 50'.

Watch the Video - Brake Master Cylinder and Parts

Installation was a little tricky but preparation is important. I put this on the seams of my tanning bed at the campsite I go to because it turned out that most of the same tanning beds had water damage. No leaks so far and I believe this protects the seams that were there. I try to be active. First I used bleach on the roof, then once it was dry I used mineral spirits. When it dries, unroll it gently and remove the backing. Try to get it right because you probably won't get it back.

Insanely strong adhesive

I bought this stuff to attach the roof of my RV. After searching for several hours and not wanting to completely re-tape the entire roof, I decided to give EternaBond Tape a try. It's been almost a year since I fixed my roof with EternaBond tape and I haven't seen a single drop of water. I live in central Texas and we have a variety of weather conditions and it has withstood the scorching summer heat and freezing hell of February 2021. I am very happy with EternaBond and would recommend it to…

This stuff works great. But don't try to order 6 inch tape

I would like to give 5 stars but I ordered 6 inch tape and received a 4 inch version. twice. It appears to be mislabeled so I could return it all day for a replacement and get the same wrong item over and over again. In the end, Revain refunded me the difference in price and I paid 4 inches. If you're looking for a permanent roof waterproofing for your motorhome, forget Dicor, that's the ticket. I did all the pressure on my C class and I don't think I need to do it again. Be VERY careful when…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly

No peelable backing on the sticky side of the tape. I must have received a defective roll of tape. Would you replace this defective item? The Eternabond I received does not have a removable silicone liner on the adhesive side to prevent it from sticking to other surfaces before application as stated in the product description. I bought it from Revain on 04/21/2018. Didn't have to use it until today 10/31/2020. It's useless without a removable silicone liner, it can't even be cut with scissors…

You will not regret it! That's great!

This is AWESOME! Our solarium has a flat roof covered with TPO. It started to flow. Three roofers came out, we had offers from $750 to $4800 to fix it. One of the roofers told my husband where he suspected the problem was at one of the seams, so my husband patched that area with caulk. Still leaked. I thought I'd give the old college a try and ordered this stuff because I figured I could reinforce all the stitching. When I went up there and checked I found 5 holes where the branches had…

Instant results with a clean finish

Love! Love! Love! Much better than liquid glue. Easy to use and instant results! Used on my 2004 Trails West 4 Horse LQ trailer. Nice clean look. I'm glad I went with the 6 inch wide wheels. My trailer is about 31 feet from nose to bumper and I used about 1 1/3 casters to complete the job. Tear off existing Dicor sealing and rub in acetone as a cleaner. Leave to dry for 30 minutes. Definitely sticky stuff! Take your time! I unrolled the Eternabond the full length of the trailer to where it was…

Seems to work great!

I sanded and repainted my Coleman RV's top with elastomeric paint. I then added this tape over the seams on both ends just to make sure I really want to stop the current roof leak problem. touch the roof. I managed to adjust the area where only a tiny portion of the tape was in contact with the roof and didn't want to let go at all. There were some other areas I'd like to straighten out, but he wouldn't let go without completely destroying or tearing off the coating or roof. I suggest working…

Comparing EternaBond and Beech Lane

I bought a roll of 2" EternaBond and two rolls of 4" butyl Beech Lane. Beech Lane tape is a lot cheaper and I needed more - which is why I went in that direction. Having used both brands, I can say this: EternaBond is "better" than Beech Lane, but I wouldn't say it's "better". I found that the plastic backing of the EternaBond came off the reel more easily, the butyl material felt firmer and thicker, and the white material on top was smoother. So yeah, it's more fun. The Beech Lane's plastic…

No more rain in the camper!

It's finally raining so I can give you a full rundown. 100% eliminates rain inside the van through a large skylight. I pre-cut measuring strips for each side of the skylight, taking into account the overlap in the corners. I wasn't really able to get a firm, flat surface between the roof and skylight, but I was able to use a roller to push the tape into areas that had "channels" that could cause adhesion issues. I didn't actually have any tents or folds and I'm sure it was luck and because the…
