If Jasco can solve this problem I'll give it a 5.

We chose this remote for use with our new Samsung TU7000 as an alternative to the OEM remote with large buttons. This new TV controls your cable box/DVR (Motorola) via an HDMI connection. The OEM remote performs all these functions perfectly - bring up the channel guide, navigate the guide with the up and down arrow keys, select another channel with the OK button. Unfortunately, when placed side by side and at the same distance and angle as the OEM remote, the GE remote does not perform these functions to the same effect. The channel guide appears immediately, but pressing the up or down arrows cannot move the cursor (if you press it maybe 10 or 15 times, it can move the cursor to the next channel number, but then pressing the OK button has no effect the channel change). The number buttons also do not call up a new station. The caveat with all of this is that these features work, but ONLY if you hold the remote within 1 inch of the bottom of the TV. Tried several sets of new batteries, completely removed the soundbar, all to no avail. I have emailed Jasco via their website hopefully I will get a reply to help or I will return this. UPDATE: Jasco can only provide a few other codes for Samsung, both of which work with the TV but do not improve the search/channel selection performance with the cable TV guide. Still works just 1"-2" away from the TV. Returned on credit.
