Adding to my wife's gray and pink bedroom theme, this remote control appeared in the picture. We had some issues with the old remote and battery drain. For some reason it's going to eat a bunch of batteries in a couple of weeks. Enter this remote control. It has the same compact size as the original but is thinner. My wife loves the color as it goes with her theme. Happy wife happy life!

The remote itself is fantastic and I love that it has a master volume setting so I don't have to switch between device settings to turn on the surround sound. What I don't like is that I could have bought the black remote for $6 cheaper, but I went with this metallic pink color because I like it. However, less than a month later, the color faded. This is more pronounced in humans than in humans. Overall I think it's a great remote, just wish the color was more durable.

In general, everything is fine, but there are significant drawbacks. It's thin, light, comfortable to hold, and easy to pair with my TV and Blu-ray player. But it doesn't have a button to skip to the next chapter (only a fast-forward button), which is very disappointing. (It also doesn't have a subtitles button, which I probably use more than other people, so that's important to me, but you might not care.) My first review dismissed this remote because I couldn't connect it to my Roku. However, after ordering a replacement, setting it up and realizing that the remote was pointed very directly at the Roku, I decided to plug it in again. Works great to my satisfaction! It worked straight away for LG Smart TV with the first code in the list. All functions work. The LG remote that came with the TV is heavy with tiny buttons, easy to lose and doesn't always work when the button is pressed for the first time. Ok maybe I'm doing something wrong but overall this remote is awesome! I have a problem with the volume control. I set it up to use the "Master Volume” feature, where no matter which device I select, the volume control only affects the volume control on my Denon receiver. We chose this remote for use with our new Samsung TU7000 as an alternative to the OEM remote with large buttons. This new TV controls your cable box/DVR (Motorola) via an HDMI connection. Two stars for a code for Xbox One. Also, it's a crappy cheap remote that you have to point directly at the Element for it to pick up the signal. Keys sometimes need to be pressed twice.
