So far I haven't had any problems with this dome as such. It's quite well built and works. BUT I really don't like that nowhere in the product description/specs was it mentioned that this dome isn't deep enough for a standard sized bulb. Someone asked Revain a question about depth and the top answer was YES, the dome fits a standard lamp easily, but that person clearly misunderstood the question. Yes, the socket fits a standard sized bulb and you will have no trouble hanging the dome from the frame. However, if you want to mount the dome directly to the top of the screen, forget it. The lamp sticks out and you don't want the lamp's weight to rest on the fragile bulb.
