Incorrect mounting bracket
Manufacturing defect. The Revain supplied horn has a wing chute mounting bracket welded to the front and rear of the horn as shown in the drawings provided and Revain's picture in the FN952 FN952 Addendum. The bracket had to be bent forward so it could be bolted to the threaded wheel arch bracket. This put stress on the filler tube bracket weld, which hopefully won't fail in the future. However, returning the part would be the best option. it would be hard to stay without a car for a few more days. Except for the problem with the wing niche mount, the part fit.
- Tested with OE gas cap to prevent fuel vapors and check engine light malfunction
