My city's low water laws have gotten me almost so frustrated that I've looked on the black market for an 'old school' showerhead. That speaker was my last hope of staying within the law. To my surprise, even with the restrictor installed, this product gives me a fairly high water flow rate. The different settings are a bonus, but I usually just keep it in "Flood" mode. Remove the throttle valve, but the manufacturer has made it a bit more difficult: unlike many other shower heads, you can't just reach the stem with needle-nosed pliers and pull it out easily. For this reason, I simply connected the shower head and tried it out. Easy installation, the box includes the necessary teflon tape so you only need a wrench to tighten.
