The absolute best thing about this soap is its enveloping effect. We have very hard water in our city. This soap will NOT get rid of every water stain but it is the best soap I have ever used. A little goes a long way - I mean like a capful of up to about 2 gallons of water in a laundry pail, so DO NOT use too much soap as you will end up with lots and lots of suds and will just waste your soap. The best I have found is to brush all the dirt off my truck in the car wash or use a small pressure washer and then hand wash with a soft brush on a pole and hand buff the problem areas with a soft cloth to wash. . Continue washing until all dirt is removed (as much as possible), then dry your hands with white washcloths (small towels). If there is dirt, your white rags will turn dark with dirt. Rewash as needed until the entire car is clean and no dirt remains on the white drying towels. When all the dirt is gone, I put on a microfiber cloth and finish with suede (laughs). If you don't want to spend that much time washing your car, simply brush your car with a soft wash brush, rinse with cold, clean water, and you're done. The protective effect is usually so good after washing and rinsing that only a few water stains remain. I paid less than $5 for 1/2 gallon. 5 Stars
