This was very similar to another book case I had before for my 13" MacBook Pro (2015) that lasted 1½ years before the elastic lost it's ability to hold the MacBook Pro in place. This one was much cheaper made. It fit well in the case, and I liked the look of it. But a month after I started using it the zipper got stuck while unzipping it. When I kept tugging it broke some of the teeth on the zipper and in the process the zipper left cosmetic scars in the aluminum bezel of the MacBook screen (see photos). Also shortly afterwards the plastic that holds the case on the top of the MacBook ripped. Seems much poorer quality. Bad purchase.
