Review on 💨 Crucial P5 1TB NVMe Internal SSD – Boost Performance at up to 3400MB/s by Jonah Koehnke

I bought this product for my Lenovo E580 and it was relatively easy to install but Crucial has released a software called Executive Storage. During the installation process, they pretty much imply that you need to download this software in order for your SSD to run and run at full capacity. This software destroys your SSD and erases data from both your NVME SSD and the current drive. I called tech support and was on the line for over 2 hours and they said they were aware of a defect in the executive store but Crucial did nothing to fix it. I was on the line for 2 hours when they came up with the same solution and after all the trouble they just said you can return it and we might be able to send you a new one in about 4-6 weeks. Absolutely terrible product with even worse software. Seriously, choose another SSD, the Samsung Scorpion 970 EVO series is a much better option.
