for my elderly parents

I bought these for my elderly parents who never change their straws. I don't know when they even decided straws were a good idea. From what I understand they can use the same straw for weeks. Mom has Alzheimer's and she says she's treating it. This is 100% wrong. I like this for my parents as they will start to get wet. This forces them to buy a NEW straw so I know they won't be using the same dirty straw for days or weeks.
