I installed a pair of Pioneer 6x9 speakers on a 2009 Tacoma base. These wiring harnesses make installation easier if you don't want to shorten your existing Toyota wiring harness. You simply connect the speaker wires to the speaker (big to big, small to small) and connect the wire harness to the existing Tacoma wire harness. I wish the speaker wires were a bit longer so I can tape them together and tape them to the door frame to prevent flapping from a loose wire.
