Review on LocknLock Purely Storage Container Rectangle 14 by Robin Nelson

Very small but useful storage container

I chose this Lock & Lock plate to transport leftovers to work. I knew it would be small, although I was a little surprised at how small this container really is. It doesn't work as well as I planned, but we found another use for it that makes it a useful container in the kitchen. It's 16 ounces. Container - about two cups - and that's not enough to put an uncut half of a chicken breast or fish fillet. I would have liked a different layout - shorter sides for a longer and wider plate. While the space would be the same, it would hold more stuff that I would personally use. However, it's almost perfect for storing things like a couple of hard-boiled eggs or even carrot sticks. This is a good size for storing a page or two. The container itself is made from borosilicate glass, which is great for a number of reasons. First, it can be sent from the freezer to the microwave, and you don't have to worry about the dishes cracking. Second, glass doesn't melt like plastic, so heating things like pasta sauces won't foul or bubble the container. Finally, it doesn't absorb odors like plastic. The list itself is plastic, so be careful when reheating the dish with the lid on. It's not a bad dish at all. In fact, this is a fine cookware that will last for many years with proper care. I just wish the dimensions were different so the same space could be used more efficiently.
