I took in 2TB and 3TB versions for storing movies, etc. The next one I prefer is WD Red for software. Pros: The speed is sufficient to watch 20GB movies from it without brakes and quite quickly launch the games installed on it. Chose by price. For 3-5 years, there was not a single problem. Has some cons: Sometimes when accessing (for example, opening in Explorer), it dulls for a couple of seconds, as if waking up from sleep mode. Which justifies the name Green. For some, this may be critical. Windows would not dare to put it on it for the same reasons.
