Updated January 2019 Just so everyone knows I was looking for a noise canceling microphone headset for office call center use. . It's so cheap that I went with a high-end headset that's also a noise-cancelling mic headset. I bought a wired Jabra 40 for over $70. I bought a $125 Blueparrot 450t headset along with a Vmoda Boom 3.5mm mic adapter to plug into my Beats. Tested with Easy Voice Recorder Android app. Connected to my phone one after another and played a Netflix movie for 1 minute 30 seconds. I used the same laptop, played the same movie from the beginning at the same volume of 80 with good bass sound effect and actors talking. I sat in the same spot as my laptop speakers. Guess these Cyber Acoustics blocked more movie sound, less background noise, and still picked up my voice well. Crazy, this under $20 headset beats a high end mic noise canceling brand. First review: I've used many high-end and some low-end wired and wireless/Bluetooth devices. Noise and other headphones with my cell phone. Use the recording app on my mobile phone and record while driving with the radio on, and record when there is a TV nearby, and record when in public places. And listen to my recordings to see if there's any background noise other than my voice. It blocks noise best and still makes my voice very clear. I don't have to speak loudly, a normal voice sounds good and even blocks out other noises. My job requires me to be on the phone with clients and to drive while on the phone. I also travel and sometimes at the airport. Sometimes I work in a call center office, which is perfect. I need the best noise canceling microphone headset and this is it for now. It only costs less than $20! The materials are not flashy, but very good and durable, the braided cord is also of high quality. I'm comfortable stuffing the hits in my bag and not breaking anything. Lying on your head for hours is not a problem, the head is not pressed too hard to cause a headache. It's not for music, but they're great for listening to audio books. I recommend this headset, such a deal at this price point and the company specializes in audio/media/speakers. Many headsets claiming to be a China noise canceling microphone manufacturer are an unnamed brand that doesn't specialize in this product, just rebrands and sells the headphones, they do a poor job of noise canceling. Cyber Acoustics is the place I will buy again once this one breaks. I wish they had wifi, I'd love to try it. But now it's perfect for me and such a steal at this price.
