I bought these and installed them on my commuter bike because I ride a lot of dark country roads every four seasons. They give good light and increase my visibility. I hooked them up to a cheap switch I found elsewhere and everything worked great and looked really nice. The mounting kit (sold separately) for my bike (BMW F800GS) was a lot more expensive than the lights themselves. The bad news is that one of the lights stopped working after about 2 months of riding in wet weather. The wiring and switch seem to work fine (and so does the other light), so I think the problem must be water ingress into the light body itself. So you get what you pay for. UPDATE: The seller replaced the defective device. Haven't installed yet due to wiring needs, but appreciate the seller's follow up.
