Review on 🚿 Aquasana Salt-Free Descaler Filter and Purifier by Shawn Price

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not easy to install but once it's up.

Puzzle in the installation. It took several hours from a professional licensed plumber and a trip to Home Depot because some necessary parts were missing. The color is just awful and stands out like a sore thumb. There are no instructions so of. Get someone to install this thing. After the installation, the water quality improved significantly over the next few days. Remember that the "old" water in your home's plumbing takes time to flush out, especially from the hot water tank (in fact, it may take multiple showers and flushes). This filter system absolutely works. Normally, our municipal water tastes like a swimming pool. After installing this system, it tastes like WATER! MY GOD! We've also noticed better cleaning with less residue on dishes and clothes. The cost of the unit itself was decent, but remember that if you don't have the experience and convenience to install this yourself - and that's going to be expensive - you'll want to hire someone who knows their stuff. Some homes require different plumbing depending on where your main plumbing is located (for example, if your garage is at the back of your home, there's a good chance you'll need dedicated plumbing for it, increasing the cost). us If you are new to this type of filtration system, please note that this unit does not require electricity, so you do not need to place it near an electrical outlet. It also doesn't require salt, unlike other, older filter systems. It's pretty much "set and forget" (though you'll have to change some filters).
