Not easy to install but once it's up.

Puzzle in the installation. It took several hours from a professional licensed plumber and a trip to Home Depot because some necessary parts were missing. The color is just awful and stands out like a sore thumb. There are no instructions so of. Get someone to install this thing. After the installation, the water quality improved significantly over the next few days. Remember that the "old" water in your home's plumbing takes time to flush out, especially from the hot water tank (in fact, itโ€ฆ

Performance Rating with Test Data

Many reviews talk about the installation and the user's opinion of the device but do not provide actual test data to show the difference/confirm that it actually works. Without providing test results (that I could find), I was concerned/skeptical about the ability to soften and reduce odors when purchasing this product as I have very hard and alkaline well water with a strong hydrogen sulfide odor. To get some form of data, I bought a First Alert home water test and ran the test a few monthsโ€ฆ

Read BEFORE you buy anything from Aquasana.

Media could not be loaded. So many reasons not to buy this system or anything else from Aquasana.1. I tried to cancel an order 30 seconds after purchase because I forgot to go to my Amazon Smiley page to donate a piece to charity. The order could not be cancelled. You can't return it through Amazon either. This was the first sign that it would suck.2. The warranty will be void if you install this yourself.3. When rinsing the stationary filter and air conditioner before use, I followed theโ€ฆ
