I tried a lot to get them working, at first four out of five worked fine but after a few hours of data collection one showed a lot of garbage information and then suggested to stop sending any data , two more did the same for the next few hours. One worked fine but gets finicky when I do a lot with it. do, but the breakout is intended to eliminate the need for an additional wire to the CS pin) and will gradually start to heat up as the data is polled until it stops working (but never smokes), you'll see an immediate bump between the first two Readings of 10 degrees then it gradually increases from there and an odd output seems to work while I use all five wires to 1) switch to I2C mode (CS to VCC) 2) switch from 0x76 to 0x77 (SDO to VCC). This completely defeats the purpose of I2C as you end up having to use all six connections. So I tried SPI mode, it worked much more consistently but obviously requires you to use all wires too so you don't really gain or lose anything, but using six wires instead of four really sucks and eliminates the need a gap. t complete. Unfortunately, sensors with a heating issue continued to cause problems in SPI mode, but one sensor works fine in both modes. I've had a lot of success with HiLetgo products and I've been very disappointed here, but I have to rate them. An extra star for how hard they worked with me to help me resolve the issue. I will probably buy another batch from another seller who has better reviews. This error indicates that something is wrong with the SMD resistors used to control the default state of the CS pin.
