Review on 🔌 Leviton 5981-UCL Clear Horizontal While-in-Use Cover for GFCI/Decora Duplex and Single Outlet by Curtis Domus

Fits nicely on an outdoor panel, circa 1998. As the screw holes matched it only took 3 minutes to replace the old cover. The included box allows me to use AC adapters with this outlet without exposing it to rain. It feels solid and snaps firmly into place. It wasn't necessary, but I used a non-GFCI snap board for a cleaner look. It's going to be circa 1998. If this were a high exposure area I would also seal the rim of the new cap as recommended, but it's snug enough that I don't feel the need. The only concern: the clear plastic can age/scratch and yellow in the open air. And this lid doesn't come in multiple sizes - it's probably an inch "higher" (from the wall) than the maximum I really need. In general I am very satisfied with the design. highlighted.
