So I decided to add a Wyze camera to my pool and bought a weatherproof cover for it. However, I had no intention of running the wire out of the house to make it work (my wife would kill me). So I opted for an outdoor outlet that only had 2 covers to cover the outlets (which means everything is fine when it's not raining or when it's raining but nothing is plugged in). Fits nicely on an outdoor panel, circa 1998. As the screw holes matched it only took 3 minutes to replace the old cover. The included box allows me to use AC adapters with this outlet without exposing it to rain. It feels solid and snaps firmly into place. It wasn't necessary, but I used a non-GFCI snap board for a cleaner look. It's going to be circa 1998. If this were a high exposure area I would also seal the rim of the new cap as recommended, but it's snug enough that I don't feel the need.

Appears to be well made and looks good. However, I couldn't fit it in because the socket was under the gasket and that cover has a huge clamshell box at the top. I'm assuming the escutcheon was installed the correct coded distance from the top of the window seal (brick) and I see other covers that don't have a huge hinge box at the top, but they probably aren't as well made either. I have used a Leviton 5981-UCL protective case during use to replace the original 50 year old outdoor socket covers in my home. The original cases were only waterproof when not in use. In the enclosures, I installed Leviton GFWT1-W Self-Test SmartlockPro Slim GFCI weatherproof and tamper-proof sockets with LED indicators.
