I thought I'd get something more "industrial". Anyway, I wouldn't put small (heavy) home appliances on the shelf. I personally don't think it will last. Your tests might prove otherwise, but I just wouldn't trust that; too weak. We ditched the bundle of plugs that came with it and went for something a little more powerful.
