I had this in my 10 gallon beta tank and loved it and sat on the little ledges. BUT it's not worth it because it's hollow and there's no way to filter the water inside the mushroom. That meant a nasty black mold had grown on it and noticing this I took it out of the tank. There was mold everywhere and it smelled of sulphur. I immediately threw it away and cleaned the tank. For reference, I have a great filter and I clean my tank regularly. I wouldn't recommend this for an aquarium.
