Don't waste your money. I wouldn't recommend mounting them anywhere they will touch the surface of your containers, let alone touching your food directly. I only received this set of 8 a few days ago and did notice a sticky residue at first but thought it would go away with a wash. I've tried using it on a few items now but the wrappers are falling apart, look like pills but it won't wash off. They stay just as sticky. I followed the directions and carefully hand washed in cold water but each one keeps building up a residue that now with every contact with water washes the pieces away and leaves this sticky residue on my food. Unfortunately a waste of money and I will have to buy an alternative.
