May 2022 - I started shopping for a few more pairs of patterned women's workout capris since I'm at the gym several times a week. I wear a size 26 or 3x/4x & want more that are made from quick dry material & offer a little compression; these capris, however, would be best for casual wear.Purchased size 4x & they fit very well with no bagging anywhere. Colors & patterns are pretty & as bright as the pictures, plus they have a high waist. Both are 92% polyester & 8% spandex & have a soft, sueded feel with LOTS of stretch (NO tummy control here). Machine washable, but instructions state to hang to dry. It's a thin fabric & looks white when you turn them inside out, but they aren't see through & don't "white-out" when you bend your knees.Being a tall woman with a 36" inseam & thick calves, I have to purchase the capri style otherwise the longer 7/8 or "legging" styles pull down as I exercise which means playing tug of war at the crotch/waist! These came to 2" below my knees and DO NOT have a gusset in the crotch, so I'd caution enthusiast yoga students!My chief complaint is with the inseam running down the inside of the thighs. I'm a seamstress & scrutinize clothes before making a purchase. The manufacturer flat stitched the waistband as well as the seam running from the bellybutton through the crotch and up the back, but used a plain stitch where the most friction is--the inner thighs! It's a little scratchy & I wouldn't wear them for jogging or for a day at an amusement park as it would chafe, but they're fine for a casual day of errands or working from home.I hope this helps other ladies in making their choice & at only $20 for 2 pairs, I'm keeping them for casual wear. If you're shopping for nice quick dry material for exercising which DO have a little compression, take a look at the patterned workout capris at Just My Size -- they fit true-to-size and have become my favorite!
