Review on 💦 EVGA CLC 120mm All-In-One CPU Liquid Cooler: Efficient Cooling Solution with Intel Compatibility and 5 Year Warranty by Abby Clark

I'm torn. I love the cooler and everything is working great now but the install was PITA. I have an Asus Z370-G motherboard and if nothing is missing it is thinner than some of the other boards. When I installed the pump mount on the back of the board, the standoff screws did not secure it, as if the mount rocked about a quarter of an inch. So I had to buy some washers. I originally experimented with placing shims on the side of the CPU (first two pics) but once I started booting up I got warnings that my CPU was reaching 89-90C. I took them off to find that the pump was barely making contact because of the extra space from the pucks. So I moved the pucks to the back of the board (the third picture is a little hard to see) and now my CPU has warmed up to around 30C. I don't know how common this is, but if it's a common occurrence it would be nice to turn on an alert. in the manual and a few spare discs.
