I'm a big fan of these sketchbooks. As a professional architect, I always have a sketchbook and have been using it for about 5 years. First, they aren't cheap, so if you want cheap, look elsewhere. But here's why I'm such a die-hard fan: 1) The paper is thick and textured enough for marker, collage, watercolor strokes, and has plenty of teeth for a pencil. and coal. 2) the covers are very strong and you don't have to use a hard surface 3) the ring is very strong and won't bend or become unusable like cheaper sketchbooks and 4) they look pretty cool,
