I only bought this to keep my breast milk cold when I'm not at home. I pump every 2-4 hours, so sometimes on the go. I have bottle pockets in my diaper backpack but I still want to make the right arrangements to keep the milk cold for temporary storage. We live in the Southwest where temperatures reach 120 degrees Fahrenheit and I needed something quick to store my milk on the go. It's early summer so we've only hit 110 but for now ice packs have kept my milk cold. I had an appointment for an hour and kept my milk in the car with two ice packs in an insulated lunch box. When I got back from the meeting I checked the milk and it was still cold! I left the ice packs for the rest of the day to see how long it would last and it was still several hours late! I was shocked! They are easy to transport (see size comparison with a sharper map in the picture). I am very happy with this purchase.
