I recently bought this mouse. I ended up not being able to use it and returned it. The design of the "proprietary" scroll wheel is some kind of horror. It flickers. No, not even that. It LOOKS. The wheel feels so flimsy and indistinct that it causes just the wildest discomfort when using. The mechanism, during banal scrolling, periodically makes phantom clicking sounds, which constantly seems to have accidentally pressed the wheel (although in fact this is not so). The company shoves this "4D" wheel wherever possible, although horizontal scrolling is a very specific thing and is more appropriate in models for work than in gaming mice. I've been using the G700 model for many years, which also has the infamous 4D wheel, but its implementation and quality cannot be compared with the G502 wheel. It also plays a little, but, nevertheless, it feels much more reliable, monolithic and, most importantly, understandable and predictable.
