Cobra HG M75 works well but lacks tonal range. I am using it with a recently refurbished Realistic TRC-465 AM/SSB CB radio - this radio does not have built in mic gain and needs a way to boost the sound from the mic to achieve 100% modulation...the M75 does it it I like the recessed mic gain control on the back, unlike my RF Limited CR577 with its angle controls, the M75's gain control positions stay in place when using the mic. My only complaint is the narrowness of the 4-pin mic jack - the pinholes are very narrow/small making it difficult to connect to the radio. They will stretch over time, but now I have to push and pull very hard to install or remove the mic. Other than that, it's a good buy!
