This review is for a pillow out of the box, that is, I have not used it yet, but I will update the review in a few weeks. I have several silk products from many well-known brands, most of the silk products are divided into three weight categories (19 momme, 22 momme, 25 momme), the higher the weight, the better the quality. I have a 19 momme silk pillow from another brand but decided I needed a heavier weight silk pillow. When I researched most other brands, I found that most of the pillows are 22 momme, but at a very high price. So I was very pleased to learn that Celestial Silk is offering a 25 momme king size silk pillow at a relatively low price! What's more impressive is that the weight is listed on the pillow itself (see my photo), which makes me very happy as many other brands ship their pillows with no identification tags or inserts, which makes me a little skeptical. This pillow also comes in a beautiful box (a great gift for other people and if it's for yourself you feel like you're getting a luxury silk pillow) and a thank you letter signed by one of the staff. Impressive! The pillow itself feels very soft and I can tell it's a denser silk, the undyed natural white is nice and pure white (natural but with no variation or stains). They also offer the types of closures (envelope or pillow zip, I have an envelop so can't speak for a zip). I will update my review after washing and using it a few times.
