HUGE DIFFERENCE in annoying noise and heat levels

What I like: Dynapad was only installed in the engine tunnel area and already had a HUGE impact on annoying noise levels. I could neither listen nor speak on the speakerphone beforehand. I only installed the Dynapad in the tunnel area where most of the noise and heat comes from. It made a big difference. I cut and assembled it myself. The carpet is heavy and sits well on the engine tunnel. I don't want to use glue on the carpet as my refurbished BJ40 is notoriously prone to rusting. After all, I live in a humid climate. This is NOT a closed cell foam. It's very porous so I would use it in areas where water won't linger or stand still in case water unknowingly leaks from somewhere. Lightweight side foam absorbs water. The darker side is more resistant to water. I will be using Dynadeck for the rest of the car. What I don't like: It's bloody expensive for a small 32" x 54" rug.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Slightly different
