My general shoe size is 7.5 to 8, and based on reviews, I bought the 5-6, which is just about perfect. The first time I put them on, the toe box felt a little more snug than I like, but I've only had them two days and that area now feels a little roomier. Some of the review pictures look like there's a lot of room on the legs, but in person, they feel a look a lot more fitted, which is what I wanted. The inside is very soft, and they're warm. They're easy to slip on and off with a small tug. Compared with shoes, I wouldn't say they're all that supportive as the sole is kind of a squishy memory foam-type of texture, but the bottom is like a coated vinyl with tread. Compared with other slippers, they're way more supportive and trend towards house shoes versus sock-like slippers. They're not slippery. I really like them!
