Excellent sun protection
This hat is perfect. For starters, my little one will wear it, which is a big win! We've worn it to play in the garden, to the beach, and to swim in the water, and he will wear it. It's wide enough to protect his neck, face, and ears, but without the weird collar I've seen on other headgear. And it's not wide enough to get in the way. I plan to order more. It stays in place even when running without a chin strap. The instructions also say to hand wash, but I've put it in the washing machine twice already and it's been fine. I hang to dry.
