Context: I used this product to line the bottom and sides of a cutting board slot on my kitchen island that I built. This is to create a smooth sliding surface that won't scratch my custom cutting boards and to make the board insertion/removal process noiseless. The felt serves its purpose, BUT. The application is easy and initially holds well. After 2 days, the felt began to separate from the "strongly sticky" tape. As a result, I glued the felt with Gorilla glue. If your application is flat with the felt facing up, this is what you need. However, if you apply it to something underneath something gravity is acting on, it will fail almost immediately.
