Sound quality easily rivals entry-level mid-range desktop DACs. Far beyond the inaudible noise level. Great portable design and the included cables are very snug, very flexible and feel solid. Excellent build quality, feels solid and sturdy yet lightweight. Strong performance for such a small device, despite the lack of USB power delivery, my Koss PortaPro makes my Koss PortaPro too loud at maximum volume when controlling my smartphone. Works out of the box with my Android Oreo device and works with lossless playback using the PowerAmp app. My only complaint is that the volume buttons are light and easy to press and the volume increments are large. If there was a way to disable the buttons or lock the volume that would be perfect. Even though this listing says it's USB-C, it's Micro. A USB-C model would really appreciate better connectivity and connector durability, although the micro connector on it seems solid enough. Despite several complaints I cannot recommend it highly enough. At the time of publication, it outperforms all competitors.
