Review on Simlug Airbrush Decorating Painting Manicure by Lori Aguirre

They do not comply with tolerances and compensate for them.

UPDATED! They sent me a replacement and while I felt something like this should have been delivered earlier in the same time frame, it took about a week. However, I was quite dangerous and expected the same results. Not a single problem. In fact, the duty cycle of this (idiom) is better than both of my high-end airbrushes, in the sense that I didn't have to constantly check the nozzle for paint build-up. I used mother love 💩 from that. Completing projects that should have been completed yesterday. And not even a clog or sticking of the tip/needle/etc. However, I did NOT completely disassemble the front assembly as the gaskets on the latter were completely filled with crushed and elongated gaskets, redoubling attempts to smooth out imperfections when they weren't the specification. I won't. This thing looks and feels like a high end airbrush for a fraction of the cost. Upon closer inspection you'll find that things aren't always what they seem, especially when you plug it in and add a few drops of dye/paint/etc and at 5-50psi there's just a little splatter. As you push down and pull back, wait. Wait. Nothing. Push it forward a little and it will show off on your control paper. A sweet spot that isn't sweet at all. Sperm is our terrible splooge. So you take everything apart and start cleaning and properly lubricating some of the components. If you take it back You start to see damaged o-rings. Carelessly added and pressed inside the nozzle in the brush area. Now irreversibly damaged by the poor guy who built this thing. I say "poor guy" because he doesn't know he's compensating for working to a .027 inch tolerance by adding a damn o-ring. in the nozzle Yes, that's not all.

Pros
  • Very Impressive
Cons
  • Boring Packaging
