I like to keep my hands out of the dishwater

At first I thought there was no need to keep the soap in the stick when I could just pump some soap onto the sponge, but now I can don't wash dishes without this wand. I have sensitive skin and eczema so keep my hands away from hot soapy water, grease and even gloves and the rash has improved overall. The wand will end up using more soap than you would probably use just a sponge, but that's not too bad, and this wand contains a lot of soap so you don't have to refill it as often. You can buy replacement heads, they last about as long as a sponge. So in general, of course, it's more expensive than using a sponge, but it's worth it if you have sensitive skin. You still need a regular sponge or kitchen towels to wipe countertops etc, you still need a steel wool for stubborn grease build-up, but for 90% dishwashing including light grease I use this wand. I even use it to clean the oven and then wipe off the soap and limescale with a regular sponge.

Pros
  • Dishwashing pads
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than other picks
