Review on ⚡ ACDelco Gold 335-1086 Alternator: Enhanced Power and Performance by Chris Horton

I bought this to replace mine (120,000 miles) which had an intermittent whining noise from the bearings. It arrived in a battered ACDelco box and the desiccant pack they had included to absorb moisture ruptured, allowing the desiccant balls to enter the alternator. I had to shake it to get all the silica gel balls out of the device. You'd think they could box it up securely so it wouldn't roll around and rip the cardboard and blow up the desiccant. Otherwise I had no problems installing or running. It seems to work well and you can't beat the price of a brand new OEM part that's less than half the price of a rebuilt version at your local parts stores.
