The Ezcoo 4K HDMI Extender is a great solution for those who want to stream HDR 10, 4K content at 60Hz or even simple 1080p content over long distances throughout the home. It's very simple and requires you to run an Ethernet cable (CAT5E or better) from the transmitter to the receiver as it provides both data for the content and power for the receiver. The extender handles the signal very well, and while I haven't been able to test the devices for gaming performance, I've found that there's virtually no lag in signal strength, even at distances of up to 200 feet. The POE extender capability makes it easy to install this device in small or tight spaces behind entertainment equipment or in closets. As with most Ezcoo products, this device's upscaling capabilities work very well and handle HDR content with ease. Extremely effective in combination with an HDMI splitter to split the signal from a TV and send it to a TV or other display in another part of the building. With the built-in IR receiver and connections, the device can be conveniently controlled from a distance. The extender makes a very well-made and robust impression. It's small and compact and does exactly what it's supposed to do!
