I don't know if I bought the only one by mistake that nobody checked or if they are usually like that. The 3" slot spacing is the CENTER of the slot - just above the edge of my 3" trailer frame. So you can't install it unless you drill or rub too much. The roller shaft was too wide - there was nearly an inch of clearance between the bracket and the roller. That was the most expensive junk I've bought in a long time. Since I'm repairing a trailer and can't keep up, I swap the linkage and rebuild attachments instead of sending it back. I will not buy this brand again.
