I have been using the monitor since December 23, the impressions are generally positive, but there is something to complain about, the most annoying thing is the drop in brightness when HDR is on, there are fears that they will not be able to fix it programmatically . Knowing the above, I would not be in a hurry to buy, I would wait for reviews and comparisons with the nearest competitor, which does not have most of the above disadvantages, and it is not much more expensive now. Last night I found a red pixel visible on any background except white. I didn’t see it right away, most likely due to the fact that dynamic dimming was turned on, with this mode the pixel on a black background is not visible (be sure to turn off dynamic dimming when checking), that is, a broken (well, or stuck) pixel could be present immediately . Turning off for 12 hours or a software way to get rid of it did not help. The monitor falls under the Asus Zero Bright Dot program, during the warranty period, only one bright pixel (visible on a black background) or 5 dark ones (visible on a white background) is enough for the monitor to be replaced. Today I handed it over to the ASC, they immediately upset it, saying that Asus does not issue monitors for replacement, only a matrix can be sent if the case is recognized as really warranty, and that the monitor is rare, most likely they will issue an act of non-repairability. The repair status has changed to "Spare parts ordered for your equipment", I'm waiting. It is a pity that I did not think to take a picture of the matrix in order to compare the light.
