These are used in meterless power supplies used in amateur radio equipment. Most of these ham radios have a wide voltage tolerance of around 11.5v is also 15.0v. Both gauges showed a slight discrepancy in the voltage displayed, reading 13.4 volts when the actual voltage was 13.7.
